LIS Analytics Center

A comprehensive solution for analytics

LIS Analytica Centrum is the most advanced and most frequently chosen system for analytical laboratories in Poland. With a wide range of functions, flexibility and reliability, it is a solution that meets the needs of even the most demanding laboratories.

The system offers extensive order registration capabilities, both automatically through HL7-compliant integration and manually, providing flexibility to suit the needs of any laboratory. In addition, it enables efficient management of preanalytical errors, allowing the user to specify the type of error, its priority, how it should be resolved, and a detailed description of the problem and its course. The system also provides secure barcode labeling of diagnostic material, which significantly improves accuracy and efficiency in laboratories. These features make LIS Analytka Centrum the primary and most popular laboratory system in Poland.

The center offers the following modules:

Registration

The Registration module allows you to maintain a patient file and provides automatic data updating in cooperation with, for example, a hospital patient database. Registration of orders is possible in the mode:

    • manual
    • Automatic with the use of an order scanner,
    • automated by accepting incoming orders electronically (from other systems: hospital, other laboratories).

The module also offers material identification and receipt functionality with order verification and support for a central material distribution room. It is also crucial for the user to maintain (with appropriate daily printouts) a central order book.

The Registration module allows fully automatic variant selection of prices according to multiple price lists.

Workshop

The module manages the flow of information between positions in the laboratory, supervises the operation of the apparatus, manages the collection, verification and release of results. Its functions include:

  • Verification of the order list.
  • Maintenance of the book of the diagnostic laboratory.
  • Creation and maintenance of work lists.
  • Acquisition and validation of results.
  • Handling urgent orders.
  • Authorization.

Authorization is based on the presentation of collated validated current and previous patient results from all laboratories (selected or all tests) with access to reference values and descriptions. In the module, it is possible to enter descriptive, multiparameter results, calculable and control parameters.

Quality control

This module enables comprehensive quality management in the laboratory by conducting and documenting quality control. The functions of the module include, but are not limited to, maintaining a file of control materials, procedures (SOP), automatic preparation of Control Cards, recording and logging of control sample results, and controlling reproducibility and repeatability of results

Magazine

The module provides an integrated system for recording and management of consumables. The module can work in the CENTRUM system or as an independent program; independently or as a satellite subsystem with the possibility of communication with the parent system. It can maintain multiple warehouses. Among other things, it makes it possible to keep a file of the laboratory's consumables, record of transaction documents and necessary statements and reports.

The Center's system also has advanced functionality that enables:

  • Automatic validation - a function that allows automatic acceptance and approval of test execution and its parameters based on predetermined rules. This makes the diagnostic process faster and more reliable.
  • Delta check-Thisfunctionality allows you to verify test results in the context of a patient's previous results. Delta check also allows you to block approval of results if there is a deviation-both relative and absolute-that exceeds pre-configured limits.
  • Shipping lab support - the system allows you to create shipping lists for tests to be performed at a subcontractor, which streamlines logistics and expands the diagnostic capabilities of the lab.
  • Cooperation with analyzers - the system works with more than 1,000 analyzers of various types offered by many vendors on the market

Comprehensive laboratory information exchange solutions

Integration of various IT solutions and data exchange is of utmost importance in the field of laboratory diagnostics. All of our LIS-type systems allow integration with hospital HIS-type systems. We have tested and production-launched connections with major hospital software vendors. LIS-HIS connections allow the exchange of laboratory information in electronic form. This is a highly desirable and at the same time fast way of communication between medical entities. Communication is based on the transmission of order data and results. Data is sent in HL7-supported and Polish National Implementation (PIK) HL7 CDA-compliant messages.

Central Authorization Management

The Central Authorization Management (CZA) module allows you to remotely view and manage the execution of orders at other facilities belonging to the same organization and, if necessary, redirect tests to facilities that are less burdened with test execution or strengthen the staff of diagnosticians in the burdened laboratory.

Advantages of the solution:

  • enables real-time monitoring of the execution of orders at all facilities belonging to the organization.
  • allows you to track the number of tests and orders awaiting approval and signature, broken down into routine and urgent (Cito) per laboratory,

Commissioning module

iCentrum is a comprehensive tool that enables the registration of orders and the publication of test results at collection centers. With this browser-based application, diagnosticians and medical staff can manage patient data and test results easily and efficiently.

The Remote Registration Application is a solution that allows external principals, such as outpatient clinics working with the Pathomorphology Department, to remotely register pathomorphology orders. LISmart Manager addresses the growing needs of modern laboratories seeking to optimize management and maximize the use of data collected in the analytical process. LISkan

LISkan is a comprehensive electronic documentation package that facilitates the automatic registration of orders and the collection and storage of any documentation in the laboratory system. Combined with electronic signatures and the eLaborat service, which presents test results over the Internet, LISkan makes it possible to completely eliminate traditional paper documentation inside the laboratory and provide access to original documents at any time.

The package consists of two components: a double-sided paper document scanner and software that allows the Center's system to collect electronic copies of images of original paper documents.

LISkan provides the opportunity:

  • automatic image analysis and registration of order content, which allows for faster and more precise data processing,
  • preview the original forms on the monitor screen to complete the necessary data,
  • recording the image of the paper order in electronic form and preserving it in the Center's system,
  • recording the image of any paper documents (results from the subcontractor's laboratory, work card, handwritten texts, statements, etc.) in electronic form, linking them to the order and preserving them in the Center's system.

EDM

In response to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of 25.04.2021 on the Health Information System, which requires the maintenance of resultant documentation in the form of Electronic Medical Records (EMD) compliant with the Polish National Implementation (PIK) HL7 CDA and their storage in dedicated repositories, MARCEL S.A. has developed comprehensive solutions to meet the requirements of medical laboratories:

  • Extension of the HL7 standard: we propose to extend the LIS - HIS information exchange operating according to the HL7 standard with the possibility of sending documents compliant with the Polish National Implementation (PIK) of HL7 CDA. This ensures compliance with current regulations and enables efficient exchange of medical data between information systems,
  • LABO EDM repository service: our proposal includes the delivery of the National Medical Cloud Operator's LABO EDM repository service. As part of this service, we provide storage of Electronic Medical Records in accordance with the highest security standards, with the possibility of sharing and exchange between providers using the infrastructure of the P1 Platform.

Polis

The POLIS platform enables efficient and parallel management of multiple laboratories that operate autonomously, but simultaneously collaborate within the same organization. POLIS is a comprehensive and integrated IT system that provides the necessary unification of services, maintaining a consistent image of the organization to customers and an efficient, automated flow of information.

The platform consists of autonomous LIS modules that serve individual laboratories, equipped with local databases and automatically synchronized with a central server shared by a group of laboratories. POLIS includes a benchmark data module, a billing module, a data exchange module and a results publication module, all of which reduce management costs and improve the quality of laboratory informatization by sharing some of the technical infrastructure, such as servers. The platform also makes it possible to share functions that are not available to individual laboratories for technical or economic reasons.

Marcel S.A.'s microbiological reporting module has been designed to meet the needs of our customers and the requirements of inspection bodies. It combines proven solutions with modern technologies that optimize the process of creating complex statistics, reports and analyses.

The Microbiology Reports were developed in accordance with the recommendations of the National Consultant in Medical Microbiology. Their contents and functions were consulted with experts from all over the country, which guarantees their high quality and reliability.

The module provides continuous and rapid access to information, regardless of where the physical form of documentation is at any given time and from how many locations. It offers dynamic reports and multivariate analysis of the collected data and enables its presentation in the form of interactive tables and printouts from pdf, xls, csv format.

  • Convenient access through a web browser giving the ability to generate reports also outside the Laboratory structure.
